Relationships

The welfare, protection and support of children and families remains at the heart of what we do.

By working directly with offenders in terms of their attitudes to offending, and by working with them to reduce their offending, we indirectly contribute to improving the life chances of children and families. Probation also has a role to protect children at risk from the activities of offenders, which is paramount to all that we do.
