Probation in Wiltshire

Wiltshire Probation Trust was officially launched on 1 July 2010. The formation of the Trust heralds a new era in which probation services are now being adapted and tailored more closely to the individual needs of communities in Wiltshire and Swindon.

The Wiltshire LDU (Local Delivery Unit) with its own dedicated team of managers will focus on the needs of Wiltshire communities, from offices in Chippenham, Trowbridge and Salisbury. It will help to reduce re-offending and cut crime by addressing the needs of a predominantly rural county with large market towns.
